The University Of Port Harcourt Theatre Arts graduate has addressed the  rumors that she is making a reconciling move to reunite with her former husband, Dejo Richards.

It was said that the Nollywood actress has finally succumbed to pressures from her close  friends, relations and close associates and has decided to end her relationship with a wealthy socialite and reconcile with her ex-husband.
The actress’ marriage to her ex-husband, Dejo Richards which packed up few years ago due to some irreconcilable differences with the actress claiming physical abuse in the hands of her ex-husband rocked the news sometimes back.

Monalisa has however made it known in a new interview with Punch, saying there is nothing like that. In her words:

“I heard the rumour and couldn’t help but laugh, as usual. Around here, we just write anything whenever truly confirmed stories are not readily available. Whatever I do with my private life is my business. But people are free to speculate as it is part of the business.”

The actress who has featured in many Nigerian high-profiled films is a Globacom ambassador. She has however been linked with a man, Lanre Nzeribe who she refers to as just business partner and close friends, debunking rumors that they are both going out.
