Disaster Averted In Kano As Police Detonates Bomb

The police in Kano has uncovered and detonated an Improvised Explosive Device at Dawanau, a popular market in the city. Vanguard reports.
This is coming barely 24 hours after Kano Textile market was bombed by two female suicide bombers yesterday.

Eyewitness said the bomb was concealed in a sack that was hidden at the busy market.
Confirming the incident,  Kano state commissioner of police, Mr. Adelenre Shinaba confirmed told Vanguard “we have successfully detonated the bomb and I can assure you that we have restored normalcy to the market.”
More details soon.
It will be recalled that over 120 people died when multiple bombs went off at the Central Mosque in Kano last month.
