For the love of marijuana! TV reporter quits her job on air in protest

On Sunday, 21 September, Charlo Greene, a female reporter of CBS affiliate, KTVA – TV in Alaska,
resigned from her job while live on air, following her announcement stating that she owns a medical marijuana business. after announcing that she owns a medical marijuana business, the Alaska Cannabis Club.
The reporter was reporting about the Alaska Cannabis Club’, and at the end of the broadcast, she announced that she was the club’s owner and consequently, would be quitting her job.
She said, “Now everything you’ve heard is why I, the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club, will be dedicating all of my energy toward fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska. And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, fuck it, I quit.”
