Yesterday, news went round that Mikel Obi has proposed to his Russian girlfriend, Olga Diyachenko, who is the daughter of a billionaire.



The report also made it known that Mikel is off the market as the girlfriend has moved in with the eligible footballer despite having her own apartment in the UK. Aside from Olga calling the Chelsea midfielder Pooh, as pet name, many of their pictures also surfaced, where they were kissing and cuddling, sharing intimate moments.

However, the football star has however debunked the reports saying they were all just mere rumours as he did not propose privately to her Russian beau. He also made it known that when he proposes, everyone will know. He also mentioned that since the fake report, many Nigerian girls have taken to various social media to attack her girlfriend.

He however pleaded with all Nigerian girls to leave her girlfriend alone as he would want any heart ache for her. Net Ng reports that he said in an interview with a renowned sport analyst, Collin Udoh, saying:
‘Yes, she is my girlfriend, but I have not proposed to her. If that happens, it will not be hidden and everyone will know. I’m begging Nigerian girls to please leave her alone. Some Nigerian girls have already been attacking her on social media since this fake story came out.’…
