Man Rapes Lady, Uploads Nude Photos Online

A 30-year old man, Olaniyan Oluwakayode, reportedly raped a 20-year old girl in his apartment at Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area Lagos, and uploaded pictures of her taken during the act on the Internet.

The victim who hails from Akwa Ibom state alleged that despite pleas from his sister, Oluwakayode still went ahead to upload the photos on a popular social media, Vanguard reports.

Recounting what happened, the victim said Oluwakayode had never been her boyfriend or fiancée, but a guy who had been asking her out for a long time but she had refused.
On her way back from work last week, on Tuesday, he was said to have ambushed her and dragged her into the bush. There, he threatened her with a knife saying if she shouted, he would kill her. From the bush he dragged her to his house where he locked the door and raped her.

She said: “He used his legs to hold my neck, tore my skirt, my pants and bra, beat me up, and then raped me.

“When Oluwakayode’s sister came back around to 9pm, she asked her brother to open the door, asking him if he wanted to kill me. He raped me; painfully. Even his sister was crying and he snapped me immediately and his sister even threatened to call his mother.”

Oluwakayode was arrested by the police and taken to the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, WAPA, in handcuffs.
He, however, said she was his girlfriend and denied raping her, though he admitted to taking pictures of her when she was naked.
Narrating his own side of the story, the suspect said he had a fight with his girlfriend (the victim) who had been hurting him for a long time.

He said: “I was fighting with my girlfriend but they are accusing me of raping her. I never denied the fact that I snapped her picture when she was naked. We were fighting inside, but any other allegation levelled against me is a big lie. The only thing I did, which I do not deny, is that I took her nude photographs.
“They said I raped her; one thing is that I have conscience and she also has conscience: our conscience will judge. I never denied beating her. I did beat her with my head on her face and on her back when she held my manhood. All the allegations of bringing out powder, a knife and belt are lies. I have conscience and she has too. That’s all.”
Director of Child Development, WAPA, Mrs. Alaba Fadairo said the case would be charged to court as it was obviously the case of raping and uploading the pictures on the Internet.
