Omawumi Excitedly Shows Off Her Happy Family

Today, the excited singer took to social media to gush about her engagement and also show off her beautiful daughter and baby daddy.

She wrote:  “I’m of the opinion that I don’t owe anyone any explanation. Just as I’m not prompted by pressure to reveal, I’m also not prompted pressure to be discreet… I’m just me, and right now I’m deliriously happy to (officially) share my world with the ones I love…. Thank you to those who loved me nonetheless and thank you my loves!”

Ever since Omawumi gave birth to her daughter in June, 2011, many have been trying to figure out who the father of her baby is and she has been successful at keeping this information discreet.

In a bid to keep her family out of the prying eyes of the public, Omawumi had sometime last year shared a blurry photo of her daughter which she tagged, “Thank you so much for your patience. Clearer photos and good news sooner than you know.”

Her fans finally got to meet the lucky man in her life, who has been identified as Tosin Ibrahim Yusuf, one time co-owner of Zamunda night club.

The Warri born singer, a Law graduate from Ambrose Alli University  came into the limelight following her performance at the 2007 edition of the West African Idols, a reality show where she emerged as the runner-up.

Omawumi Megbele, one of the top female entertainers in Nigeria is considered to be the highest paid female singer in Nigeria.
